It is difficult to leave this beautiful country although I haven't seen all of it I cant imagine finding another spot as overwhelming picture perfect as this. Especially enjoyed tea on the terrace overlooking the breathtaking landscape in the daylight and making wishes on shooting stars at night. To the locals of Cromane Ta Mo Chroi tu Chroi Slan Agat.

The first foreign expedition of the Bearsden Secret Society Mountaineering club gathered at Upper Cromane having previously experienced the standards of other accommodations White Sands came as an extremely pleasant surprise and has been awarded the 5 bottle standard, We have been completely spoiled for future tents, bothies and howffs not to mention b&b and most hotels. The weather matched the standard of accommodation and we depart sunburned & peeling, having bagged all Irelands 12 ,3000 footers and a record number of ice-creams topped off by a free fireworks display over the Reeks as the weather finally broke on Friday evening. Many thanks Mrs Foley for such comfortable & spacious accommodatiom in a wonderful location.
